1) To work with local stakeholders (Council, MP etc) to facilitate running as a viable form of local commuting. This is vital to cut congestion, cut carbon emissions, improve health and wellbeing 2) to organise a Junior parkrun to get more children in the local community healthy and active 3) to work with schools to educate both children and parents about the benefits of adding running in to their lifestyle. This is the simplest and easiest way to reach two audiences. There used to be a schools cross country league in Tunbridge Wells aimed at Years 7, 8 and 9 and more than 150 children would start each race 6 times a year. If we could achieve this, that would be amazing!
