Running Mayor of Birmingham

1. Better air quality - like many others I have developed asthma in my 40s, likely due to living (and running) in polluted air in the city. It's even worse for you if you're sat in a car as well which not many people know... 2. Better education - about how easy it is to find great traffic free routes. The more people understand this, the more they will get out and about actively. 3. Mental health - open up the conversation to more and different people about the positive impact of being outside, running and being active for our mental health. We've all been cooped up for so long due to Covid-19 that most people's mental health has been affected and running is one of the easiest and most positive ways to address this.
